Container Masters

Container Masters is a couch co-op game for 4 players made with Unity as a team project. The goal of this project was to prove the skills acquired in the game engineering and simulation master's program by developing a game from the idea to the first prototypes and playtests, to the finished game. This game was presented to and tested by a twelve-member expert jury consisting of representatives from the University of Applied Sciences and industry where it won the "Best in Class Award 2022".

Manage the containers of a big cargo ship and prevent the harbor from a chaotic disaster together with your team while sitting on your comfy couch. Move around with your forklift and deliver the containers to the right truck. If you want to be successful, you also have to get rid of ghosts or be able to deal with icy and slippery terrain.

My contributions:

• Crane logic (physics & movement, respawn, pick up containers, player feedback)
• Harbor ghosts animation
• Ghost possession logic (harbor ghosts possess random player or containers, possessed players controls are inverted, possessed containers cannot be used and float)
• Reusable and extendable quest system
• Player freezing & unfreezing (ice cube animation, physics)
• Wind animation/particles & logic
• Forklift trails
• Brainstorming, prototyping, refactoring, bugfixing, polishing, ...
